🟠No Negativity Means Having Positivity

Nov 06, 2023

In my journey, I've come to realize the power of positivity. It's not just a feel-good mantra; it's a way of life. One of the core behaviors I embraced and preached in my business was "No Negativity". This principle isn't about ignoring reality or pretending everything is perfect; it's about consciously choosing a positive outlook and surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals.

1. The Power of Positive Company Surrounding yourself with positive, uplifting people can make a world of difference in your life. Think about it - if you're striving to enjoy life and make a positive impact, why allow negativity to seep in? It's like trying to swim with an anchor tied to your leg. It's essential to be discerning about the company you keep.

2. Setting Boundaries Sometimes, it's necessary to set boundaries with those who bring negativity into your space. If you encounter people who consistently exude pessimism and unpleasantness, it's okay to distance yourself. Whether they're friends, colleagues, or even family members, you have the right to protect your energy and well-being.

3. Communicate Your Intentions If someone close to you is prone to negativity, it's important to have an open conversation about your desire for a more positive environment. Let them know that you value their presence in your life, but you also need a space free from negative influences. This can be a challenging conversation, but it's a crucial step towards maintaining your positivity.

4. The Ripple Effect Negativity has a sneaky way of permeating our thoughts and emotions. When you allow negative voices to surround you, they can seep into your own psyche, draining your energy and hindering your ability to live a fulfilling life. By consciously choosing positivity, you create a ripple effect that not only benefits you but also impacts those around you in a positive way.

In a world filled with challenges, choosing positivity is a powerful act of self-care. It's about acknowledging that you deserve to be surrounded by uplifting influences that nurture your well-being. So, don't hesitate to walk away from negativity, even if it means setting boundaries with loved ones. Your energy is precious, and it deserves to be spent on the things and people that uplift and inspire you.

“An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship.  Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you."
